Along the river

Lingual Tremors is once again
a source of inspiration to me.
This time, her 365 blog
inspired me to get out of the house
and take a few pictures.
These were the best of the batch.

You are so lucky to have such places in walking distance! The thing I miss most about living in the city is that I need a car to get out in nature. Since I don't have a car and public transportation to places I would like to go is bad, I get out of the city not nearly as often as I would like to (and crave to).

I'm sorry to hear that you don't have nature within walking distance, Myrthe. It is what I like most about where I live. I have to say, that I crave city life and the variety of activities to do and things to see. I wish we could have it all....

These are AWESOME! They make me miss my old stomping grounds where I could go walk in the woods for hours (of course now I have a totally different landscape!). I really like the way you captured textures here.

lingual x,
Thanks. Everything seems so grey right now. I am trying to find beauty in it. Stomping around Prospect or Central Parks can be fun too though I must say.
